Summary
GameChanger is seeking an experienced Email Marketing Manager to join our Digital Marketing team. This individual will be responsible for building new programs and maintaining existing email marketing strategy for all customer segments. The position reports to the Director of Digital Marketing, and will have ownership over Retention Marketing and Email Marketing campaigns and activities. To date, we've focused aggressively on new customer acquisition, but the time has come for us to get serious about keeping our existing users active & engaged. Your specialty will be retention. In this newly-created role, you will have significant impact on the success of our mission: to connect with our customers and contribute to the life changing impact of amateur sports.
Responsibilities
- Together with the Director of Digital Marketing, craft a segmented engagement and retention strategy and tactical plan. - Manage the email process workflow including development of the email calendar, collaborating with Digital Marketing and Product Marketing teams, and working to QA and test email assets. - Oversee email automation and triggered programs. - Monitor email deliverability and list hygiene to ensure optimal inbox placement. - Manage the relationship with our Email Service Provider, SailThru. - Drive optimal segmentation for all email marketing campaign. - Deliver reporting and insights that accurately measure the delivery and performance of each email campaign. - Drive and optimize key traffic and revenue metrics. - Lead email acquisition for existing and unknown customers, increase email penetration.
