Summary
As a vital member of the iFit Marketing and Communications team, the Digital Communications Manager is responsible for creating and deploying content across iFit websites and digital marketing initiatives. This position will require a creative approach to content generation, a detailed knowledge of the ever-shifting digital landscape and an ability to tell compelling stories that spark audience engagement and action across varied digital platforms.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Help develop channel strategies and make recommendations on emerging platforms/opportunities both in the US and Internationally. * Serve on cross-functional teams as the internal social advocate and educate on trends Monitoring and Reporting * Identify opportunities and threats in user-generated content and report to appropriate parties. * Work with Legal to develop protocols and best practices. * Tag and title content, with an understanding of how the words chosen impact organic search traffic and rankings. * Create and update weekly and monthly reports. Develop success metrics. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES * Make strategic recommendations for promotions and programs to grow existing communities. * Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising future digital media campaigns. * Ability to travel (3-4 work trips per year), work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Ideal Candidate
QUALIFICATIONS * 2 - 3 years of experience in social media management, communications and/or digital marketing; or equivalent combination of education and experience. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE * Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in communications, marketing, journalism or related field. LANGUAGE SKILLS * Exceptional written and oral communications skills, creativity, and attention to detail are a must. * Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. * Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
