Summary

The Social Media Coordinator will oversee the brand’s social media program in order to drive awareness, traffic, engagement & conversation in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager and interacting cross-functionally with the Marketing, PR, Retail, Ecommerce and Creative business teams.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated passion for both social media and beauty, combined with communication and visual skills for developing attention-grabbing content while engaging in an authentic way.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and execute social media strategies, promotional campaigns and day-to-day activities.
  • Conceptualize and craft compelling content to drive engagement, new member acquisition and build the brand lifestyle.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to strategize and execute social media plans.
  • Write copy for social media posts and join in the conversation.
  • Keep abreast of industry marketing trends, best practices, competitive insights & emerging technologies.
  • Compile usable insights based on analytics that can use in the new month’s strategy.
  • Ensure social site profiles are updated, linked and effectively being utilized.
  • Research, plan and recommend social tools roadmap.
  • Identify, communicate & build relationships with key bloggers & online influencers.
  • Assist affiliate marketing program with approvals, reporting & identifying new publishers to partner with.
  • Help administer contests and sweepstakes including all promotional assets, launches, calendar coordination, and prize distribution.
Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism or equivalent preferred
  • 1-2 years experience, with professional experience in social media platforms a plus
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube etc.)
  • Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize, plan & organize
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written, verbal & visual skills
  • Well organized, with a strong work ethic
