Summary
Gurtin Fixed Income Management, LLC is a boutique asset management firm seeking entrepreneurial candidates for a San Diego-based new role in the Strategic Development & Marketing Department. This position provides the unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a fast-paced, innovative firm and immediately make a meaningful and measurable impact while independently responsible for projects that matter to the business as an integral member of a collaborative team. The EmaIl Marketing Strategist will work with content creators and the Business Development and Client Relationship Management departments to plan, create, and execute email campaigns to drive lead generation as well as client retention and engagement. The Email Marketing Strategist will be primarily responsible for the successful implementation, management, and day-to-day operation of various technology platforms (e.g., Click Dimensions, Microsoft Dynamics, Google Analytics, and dashboards). The ideal candidate is passionate about pushing the boundaries of digital marketing tools and technologies, and experienced in strategically driving successful campaigns.
Responsibilities
* Perform day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment for one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns * Build and maintain an email calendar * Manage list segmentation and develop customer segmentation strategies to increase engagement and retention * Work closely with and stay in constant communications with content strategists, as well as sales and relationship management teams * Manage all email campaign deployment, ensuring that new email communications meet brand standards and compliance requirements * Develop and manage automated workflows in SharePoint that integrate Click Dimensions with Microsoft Dynamics * Implement A/B testing, automation, multi-step campaigns and the integration of new segmentation criteria into the email system * Stay abreast of best practices for B2B email marketing in financial services * Monitor, track, analyze, and report campaign performance, providing key learnings to internal stakeholders and utilizing the results to refine and improve future campaigns * Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation and other aspects of email execution, as required
Ideal Candidate
**Required Qualifications:** * BA/BS degree, with a concentration in Marketing, Communications, Data Management, Information Technology, or a related field * Demonstrated knowledge of how to leverage customer data, technology, and marketing strategy for campaign planning and execution * Solid experience in email marketing and drip / nurturing campaign segment building * Strong project management and problem-solving skills **Preferred Qualifications:** * 3-5 years planning and implementing email marketing campaigns with an email marketing platform integrated with a CRM solution * Experience adhering to the marketing and compliance practices required for financial services or another regulated industry * Familiarity with SharePoint, Click Dimensions, and Microsoft Dynamics * B2B marketing experience
