The purpose of this position is to be responsible for a wide range of critical marketing activities for the HIMSS Learning Center that help grow, retain and diversify our various online audiences. This position requires a strong understanding of how to build and retain an online education-based community through product awareness, as well as a deep understanding of online retail marketing techniques, copywriting and sound product marketing initiatives that drive successful outcomes. This position will require a strong understanding of lead generation campaigns.
- Plan, develop and support marketing communications that position the HIMSS Learning Center as the leader of education-based digital content within the Health industry.
- Create and deploy acquisition and retention-based marketing and sales promotions, including email campaigns, collateral, web optimization, traditional advertising and public relations campaigns.
- Helps HIMSS clients obtain leads by managing the placement of house ads, social media, partnerships, landing pages, online advertising, SEO, content distribution, and any other identified channels.
- Copywriting for webinar campaigns, product promotion and other sales support materials.
- Works closely with audience development and marketing departments on data analysis.
- Performance Reporting – Track performance and ROI of all initiatives; Analyze trends, optimize audience, test ideas, assess market and customer dynamics, and make recommendations for program enhancements.
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience, in Marketing or Audience Development.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience in email marketing, database management and sales support.
- Outstanding analytical skills with ability to achieve results in a complex environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Effective listener.
- Ability to articulate and sell ideas and concepts.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills. Strong personal integrity.
- Previous experience in Audience Marketing and circulation fulfillment.
- Customer focused with assertive, self-confident personality.
- Superior planning skills, both strategic and tactical.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships.
