Summary

We are seeking an Human Resources Generalist for a temporary role lasting approximately 6-8 months, 3-5 days a week with the potential of lasting until the end of 2017. The HR Generalist will provide HR support to IT, Operations and Claims, Workers Compensation, and Leave Administration.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for human resource activities to include employment, compensation, labor relations, and benefits.
  • Provide day-to-day employee relations and performance counseling to managers and employees.
  • Provide advice, assistance, and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Coordinate the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries.
  • Develop and recommend operating policy and procedural improvements.
  • Mentor/coach HR team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate

Skills/Experience :

  • Minimum of 5 years of HR Generalist experience
  • Exposure to leave of absence/FMLA and Worker’s Comp is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Experience speaking in front of groups.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Education :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related degree
