Human Resources Manager

We are seeking an Human Resources Generalist for a temporary role lasting approximately 6-8 months, 3-5 days a week with the potential of lasting until the end of 2017. The HR Generalist will provide HR support to IT, Operations and Claims, Workers Compensation, and Leave Administration.

* Responsible for human resource activities to include employment, compensation, labor relations, and benefits. * Provide day-to-day employee relations and performance counseling to managers and employees. * Provide advice, assistance, and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation. * Coordinate the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries. * Develop and recommend operating policy and procedural improvements. * Mentor/coach HR team members. * Other duties as assigned.

**Skills/Experience :** * Minimum of 5 years of HR Generalist experience * Exposure to leave of absence/FMLA and Worker’s Comp is a plus * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Strong leadership skills * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment * Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Experience speaking in front of groups. * Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. **Education :** * Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related degree
