Summary
As our next product marketing MVP, your mission is to drive growth for Blackbaud's digital and P2P portfolio through engaging content. You will be responsible for partnering closely with our product marketing managers, other marketing teams, and product management to analyze, establish, refine, and create effective messaging, assets and content geared toward the nonprofit marketing and peer to peer software solution buyers. Responsibilities
Lead execution of core messaging and content for Blackbaud's marketing and peer to peer solutions * Educate other marketing teams on the product, buyer, and market dynamics the marketing and P2P solution suite, buyer persona, and marketplace * Ensure Blackbaud's unique value proposition is heard by nonprofit marketers, fundraisers and engagement staff through effective positioning, collateral, digital content, and industry influeners, * Act as the subject matter expert on all external-facing messaging and content in partnership with the Product Marketing Managers * Act as the primary liaison for Demand Generation, Digital Marketing, and Corporate Marketing teams involved in marketing Blackbaud's marketing and P2P solutions * Collaborate with Demand Generation and Digital Marketing teams to design and deliver the content needs for all lead generation initiatives across multiple vehicles: SEM, content marketing, tradeshows, seminars, webinars, calling campaigns, marketing automation programs, etc. Help drive the go-to-market execution for the marketing and P2P solution suites: * Obtain a deep understanding of buyers and their operational challenges * Developing a keen understanding of the competition, industry influencers and decision makers while possessing the ability to effectively communicate and publicly represent the company and our products at industry events. * Arm internal and external stakeholders with: value/differentiation presentations, demonstrations, call scripts, case studies, message maps, web content, white papers, and competitive research. * Support positioning, sales enablement, competitive research, and other product marketing initiatives for GMG's (General Markets Group) vertical business units: K12 private schools, Small College, Arts & Cultural, and others. Influence external nonprofit decision makers, partners, and thought leaders to expand Blackbaud's brand * Engage with industry thought leaders to develop co-marketing relationships, expand Blackbaud's thought leadership presence, and develop new and creative opportunities for collaboration * In partnership with demand generation marketing events efforts, help organize Blackbaud Marketing and Peer to Peer content needs at events, associations, and influencer groups
Ideal Candidate
* 3+ years of Marketing experience within a growing Software-as-a-service (SAAS) organization * Industry knowledge of the digital and/or peer to peer space preferred * BS/BA degree * Exceptional ability to write and create product content; able to write quickly and concisely for non-technical audiences; writing samples required * Experience and a track record of driving adoption, growth and results for an established product * Excellent project management skills and proven ability to deliver on short and long-term timeframes * Self-starter, creative thinker, excellent listener, communicator, and influencer * Strong problem solving, analytical and mental acuity * Proven record of thriving in fast-paced and matrixed environment * Proficiency with: salesforce.com or similar CRM, web conferencing tools, MS Office Suite preferred
