Summary
We are searching for a marketing leader who can join our team to lead demand generation in each of our Higher Ed and K-12 segments in North America, Latin America, and EMEA.. As Director of Demand Generation, you will design and execute campaigns that leverage inbound and outbound content marketing tactics, online and print advertising, and live events. You will be responsible for setting goals, allocating budget, determining the tactical mix, designing offers and calls to action, and jointly executing lead generation and sales acceleration campaigns in with inside and field sales. Demonstrated ability to leverage the power of web technologies in demand generation is essential.
Responsibilities
* Own a pipeline and quota of high volume leads and demonstrations * Own the budget, annual strategy and quarterly execution plans for the demand generation function * Oversee the team that executes marketing programs across email, advertising, content syndication, SEO/SEM, events and field marketing * Develop and execute an account-based marketing program for our largest prospects * Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of lead qualification processes and lead nurture programs * Create a strong marketing-to-sales processes * Formalize marketing operations discipline * Work hand-in-hand with PR, content marketing, and product marketing to ensure that marketing campaigns are coordinated * Oversee the management of our marketing automation system and connectivity to Salesforce * Track and report key metrics through dashboards that that measure the health of marketing programs and communicate this to cross-functional teams and executives * Align our website content and experiences to meet prospect self-education needs * Evaluate, select and manage outside vendors such as marketing agencies, designers, and copywriters
Ideal Candidate
* 7+ years of experience in B2B demand creation in a high growth software business; experience in education technology preferred, but not required. * At least 3 years of experience managing a team * Proven record of supporting sales to meet or exceed pipeline and revenue targets * Three or more years marketing education technology preferred, but not required * A mastery of integrated marketing best practices for digital marketing channel and tactics * Experience creating and implementing seeding, demand creation, lead nurturing and pipeline acceleration programs * A proven ability to build content that is compelling and tied to customer journeys * Proficiency using marketing automation, web content management, web analytics and business intelligence solutions * Excellent communication skills with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation and spoken formats to a variety of audiences * Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects in a dynamic, high-pressure environment * Experience creating and managing to marketing program budgets
