Head of Marketing

Zype is the video distribution service for OTT. We are dedicated to making it easy for content owners to connect directly with their audiences on every screen. With Zype, content owners can own and accelerate all aspects of video distribution direct to consumer.

We are looking for a Head of Marketing with a proven track record in crafting and executing thoughtful, engaging and sales impacting product marketing programs. You’ll be executing go-to-market initiatives around product launches, developing sales enablement materials, and communicate product features to the market.

* All aspects of daily management for the Marketing Department. * Working closely with stakeholders to devise an effective marketing strategy. * Recruitment and selection of new members of the marketing team. * Leading the charge when it comes to data, and analytics, ensuring proper metrics are in place to make decisions from a marketing perspective. * Collaborating with Product Management, Engineering and Sales to understand and communicate the unique value we provide and identify new product opportunities * Formulate and execute an effective content marketing and amplification strategy * Educate customers and the market on new feature releases through multiple channels that are focused on driving adoption. * Monitor and identify change in customer behaviour, segmentation and market conditions and adjust strategies to drive growth. * Collaborate on executing marketing campaigns with a talented team of designers, developers and our demand and content marketing teams

You know how to get things done fast and efficiently, or you’ll figure out what needs to happen. * You love creating outstanding campaigns and you always are devising ways to make things better. * You live and die by your metrics. * You have an appreciation for quality marketing communications and a strong attention to detail. * You are an excellent written communicator able to effectively communicate with customers and the general marketplace. * You still have a tiny bit of fear inside your heart every single time you press send on a mass email blast or launch a communication into the wild. * You might not be the biggest geek in the room but you can totally hang with the engineers and developers. **Application Requirements:** * Outstanding verbal and written communication skills * Energetic, motivated, positive attitude * Able to take initiative and seek out sales opportunities * Strong multi-tasking skills in order to manage multiple clients/projects * An individual with great attention to detail * 5+ years’ experience with a SaaS company in a marketing role * Thorough working knowledge of sales and marketing tools * You have HTML basics down and maybe have dabbled in CSS * BA/BS in English, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or Writing
