Summary
As an integral member of the Human Resources team, the Corporate Recruiter is responsible for proactively driving various aspects of the talent acquisition lifecycle, ensuring that the recruiting process moves efficiently and effectively identify and hire the best qualified talent for USAA Real Estate Company. The Corporate Recruiter will also provide support in areas of Payroll, Benefits, Employee Relations and special projects.
Responsibilities
* Accountable for the Talent Acquisitions lifecycle, to include, evaluating candidate’s qualifications, coordinating and conducting interviews, managing candidate selection, extending job offers, initiating on-boarding, and conducting new hire orientation. * Successfully establish and maintain professional relationships with all levels of Management, collaborate with hiring managers to identify hiring needs and develop staffing plans, develop and review job descriptions, implement innovative talent supply solutions, and recommend sound strategies to meet staffing objectives. * Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies, identify trending and industry specific job boards, and build networks with professional organizations to support the Company’s diversity and military outreach efforts. Ensure that the best-qualified personnel are hired while maintaining all EEO/AAP requirements. Support our Veteran and Disability outreach efforts by participating in local career fairs and networking events specific to Veterans and/or Disabled persons. * Lead the Social Media networking efforts, utilizing social media outlets to attract top talent and to share engaging information about the Company and its culture with perspective candidates. * Effectively utilize the applicant tracking system to maintain pertinent applicant data. Ensure that each candidate has been properly dispositioned and that all supporting interview feedback/notes have been captured to support our recruiting decisions. * Will take an active role in our annual AAP audit. Responsible for performing quarterly audits of each filled requisition, verifying that all candidate data is complete and generate the annual AAP report and AAP snapshot report when requested. * Assist with the university recruiting efforts, to include, planning and coordinating of on-campus events for each Fall and Spring semester, communicating with university staff, and attending events as requested. * Provide HR data analytics support in Recruitment, Payroll, Benefits and special projects. Ability to manipulate data in excel, to include, extracting data, creating pivot tables and developing complex formulas, and be able to populate this data in a presentation format. * Support HR audit engagements by gathering, preparing and verifying data for accuracy. * Provide backup payroll support, assist with internal and external market compensation analysis and assist in troubleshooting payroll issues. * Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding Human Resources related matters; provide excellent customer service, demonstrate a sense of urgency and communicate accordingly. * Serve as a culture champion by actively promoting the Company’s values. * Assist with special projects as requested. * Keep abreast of federal and state employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance with current pertinent HR policies, procedures and practices.
Ideal Candidate
**Minimum Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. * 3+ years Corporate Recruiter or Human Resources Generalist experience. * Corporate recruitment experience. * Ability and willingness to travel locally and out of state for internship recruiting. * Applicant Tracking System and HRIS experience required. Working knowledge of ADP a plus. * Knowledge of EEO/Affirmative Action reporting regulations, procedures, and current practices. * Solid interpersonal skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills. * Highly organized; strong follow through skills. * Demonstrated ability to handle confidential records and documents and maintain the highest level of confidentiality with sensitive information. * Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word and Powerpoint; working knowledge of Visio is a plus. **Physical Requirements:** * Regularly required to sit for extended periods of time; frequently required to stand, walk, and use business equipment daily such as computer, copier, fax, telephone, etc.; frequently required to reach overhead, bend, and lift objects of up to 25 lbs. * Ability to handle stress caused by multiple priorities, and other unforeseen situations associated with the organization. * Eyesight and hearing must be correctable to standard level.
