Senior Financial Analyst

This position will be responsible for finance and accounting within the plant and platform, which includes partnering with the private brands finance team and working closely with the Plant Manager in successfully servicing the manufacturing operations and meeting financial objectives. Opportunities exist to drive continuous improvements in efficient and effective business processes.

* Perform monthly activities in support of period scorecard, Forecast, and Month-end results * Develop/implement necessary processes to support internal forecasting/reporting requirements. * Provide effective counsel and analysis to plant and business leadership where necessary * Assist the plant and platform in maintaining adherence to SOX requirements, including effectively driving adherence to inventroy, fixed asset, and cycle counting policies * Analyze product costs and COGS variances and develop actionable reporting * Plays a key role in the month-end close to ensure month-end deadlines are met * Participate in the preparation and compilation of the annual financial plan, which may include modeling, time-series analysis, and graphic presentation of both operating and financial data. * Provide ad hoc financial analysis as requested. Provide technical and process skills to assist in developing standard work among various work streams * Exercise judgment in financial, operational, or transactional analysis to identify and help resolve issues. * Demonstrate ability to effectively work in a cross functional team environment both within and outside of assigned area of responsibility * Coordinate the cost analysis of new products, line extensions, and new business lines * Participate on multiple work streams in focused improvement and zero loss analysis, working closely with plant operations business teams * Handle multiple activities simultaneously and complete work in such a way as to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks * Drive focused improvement and zero loss analysis workstreams, working closely with plant operations business teams to drive cost reduction activities

* Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting * 5 years of business experience in finance, corporate accounting, manufacturing, etc. * Strong communication, organization, and planning skills * Ability to independently research and resolve tasks with minimal supervision with awareness and motivation to collaborate when necessary * ERP experience (JDE / SAP preferred), intermediate to advanced excel skills strongly preferred
