Commercial Finance Manager

To provide effective financial leadership and direction for specific channel including but not limited to pricing and strategy formulation and delivery that will enable margin maximization and ensure sustainable profitable growth for Bakery Products.

* Active participation in High Performance Team * Translate & align channel strategies with financial goals * Develop channel pricing architecture * Track and measure financial impact of R&D programs including but not limited to new product development * Collaborate with Sales on new product pricing strategy * Design pricing strategies to shift business to areas of highest priority * Perform channel profitability analysis * Perform cost/pricing analysis for channel * Prepare and analyze price list/matrix * Assist with the preparation of financial support for capital appropriation requests * Support budget and midterm planning process for channel * Support development of controlling business processes * Support cost reduction projects * Produce adhoc analysis and presentations and take part in channel strategy presentations * In conjunction with Director of Finance and Channel VP, provide long term vision for the channel and implement a strategy to achieve the vision * Perform other duties as assigned by management

**Knowledge:** * Bias for Action/Results – Display sense of urgency even in absence of deadlines and accomplish tasks, anticipate problems and identify solutions. * Lead Change – Implement improvements in current processes and provide insight. * Judgment – Exhibit experience-based timely decision-making with a willingness to accept a reasonable amount of risk while maintaining openness to sharing thought processes. * Development – Collaborate with others and routinely demonstrate commitment to improve yourself and others via positive feedback and self-insight. * Candour, Challenge and Constructive Conflict – Offer differing opinions and illustrate willingness to influence others while understanding the pros/cons of topics. * Business Expertise – Seek a broader understanding of business and competitive issues. * Innovation/Creativity – Apply “out-of-the-box” thinking to projects and challenges and maintains the “big picture” attitude. * Professionalism & Relationships – Makes efforts to understand internal and external trends and establishes good relationships with others, and a professional image **Skills/Experience:** * 5-7 years of relevant work experience including management, with increasing levels of responsibility * Affiliation with sales /supply chain/manufacturing organization * P & L ownership/Margin maximization of category and products * Problem Solving/Analytical Skills – Recognize and investigate anomalies, provide insights and continually work to improve impact of analysis. * Knowledge of manufacturing capabilities, formulation advancement and pricing strategy * Sound working knowledge of financial accounting processes * Solid understanding of product costing * Solid understanding of cost center accounting * Understand profitability analysis margin review workflows * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to superiors, colleagues and individuals inside and outside the company. * Leadership role in an environment that embraces cross functional collaboration * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong analytical and technology skills. * Structure and process oriented * IT literate, very strong PC skills (MS Office suite) **Education:** Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent experience required; MBA in Finance preferred. CPA or CMA accreditation a plus
