Responsibilities
* Performs Finished Goods analysis to understand changes in Standard Finished Goods (FG) costs and/or variances between Standard and Actual FG costs, including component-level analysis as it relates to budgeted Bills of Material. * Responsible for Manufactured Finished Goods model cost management. * Performs Purchased Finished Goods (FG) costs analysis to understand variances between Standard and Actual FG costs. * Assists in the annual rolling of standard costs for Production and Purchased products. * Compiles, reports, and analyzes Actual results, Forecast and Business Plan for purchase cost, material cost, and other related cost. * Assists in the preparation of the Forecast and Business Plan regarding purchase cost, material cost, and other related cost. * Seeks ways to improve cost analysis (month, quarter, annual, fiscal year 1st and 2nd half, fiscal year to date, and/or total fiscal year) to provide management with information needed to enhance decision making. * Identifies areas of risk of achieving budgeted and forecasted cost targets. (month, quarter, annual, fiscal year 1st and 2nd half, fiscal year to date, and/or total fiscal year.) * Directs and participates in establishing and accounting for standard costs at the finished good model level, including budgeting, forecasting and actuals reporting. Also provide relevant analysis of standard rates to actual rates and other manufacturing variance analysis, as needed. * Assists management in making day-to-day operating decisions and offers advice on various aspects of Company management. * Assists other departments in the evaluation of their performance as it pertains to material/purchase costs. * Assists in the monitoring and tracking of departmental KPI's & accountabilities and objectives for self. * Supports self-audits of internal systems and procedures and cooperating with internal/external auditors to support both audits and improve systems soundness and efficiency. * Supports and contributes to other areas of accounting as needed. * Interprets, enforces and complies with Company policies, procedures, and regulations. * Prepares reports, charts, graphs, and other statistical information as necessary. * Will initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels. * Responsible for the management of information security as part of the normal management of the business. Must cooperate with the Company ISM professionals in implementing the information security policies within the Company, and ensures that information is handled in compliance with the Global ISM related regulations. * Performs other related duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
* BS/BA Degree in Accounting or BS/BA with a concentration in Accounting or Finance. * CPA or MBA preferred. * Minimum of two (2) years related Financial Analysis experience required. * Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. * Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel.
