Summary
The Human Resources Intern is responsible for providing HR support for the HR Color Group team. HR support will be in the areas of talent acquisition, on-boarding/off-boarding, administration and special projects.
Responsibilities
* Provides assistance in scheduling interviews for all positions. * Provides assistance in scheduling orientation and processing new hire photo. * Provides status responses to all candidates after interviews. Update Taleo (e-recruiting system) with candidate status’ per HR team direction. * Provides assistance with all employee events. * Shadow Sr. HR Manager and/or HR Director in meetings. Specific meetings to be identified closer to hire date. * Participates in all staff meetings. * Provides assistance to Sr. HR Manager with any special projects. Projects to be determined closer to hire date. * Shadow HR Team in candidate interviews, orientations, etc. * Provides assistance in overall HR administration to support HR Specialists in daily functions. * Responsible for all production hourly applicant pre-employment testing. * Builds and maintains relationships with employees and colleagues in a professional and personable manner adhering to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality on matters that require discretion. * Performs other duties as assigned. **SQF Responsibility:** Ensure the highest level of commitment to Safe Quality Food (SQF) in order to provide assurance that all products have been produced, prepared and handled according to the highest possible standards.

**Skills and Abilities:** * Excellent proficiency in verbal and written communication. * Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information * Able to work independently and as part of a team on a broad variety of projects. * Able to establish and maintain working relationships with employees across all levels. * Good professional appearance and demeanor. * Strong level of influence and negotiation skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer. * Able to deliver effective and accurate results and meet deadlines. * Good judgment and decision-making skills. * Well-organized, detail-oriented and a self-starter * Ability to execute, multi-task and thrive in an extremely fast paced, high growth environment **Education and Experience:** * Previous HR internship experience is preferred but not required. * Intern must be at a minimum status of a junior level and working toward a four-year degree program preferably in Human Resources. * A minimum of a 3.0 overall GPA is required.
