Summary
The Talent Acqusitions Operations Specialist will provide support for the end-to-end recruiting process as part of the Talent Acquisition team. The individual will be responsible for all new hire processes and ensures on-boarding success. This position will partner closely with internal Recruiters, HR Generalists, Hiring Managers, HR Shared Services, internal and external Candidates, and key vendors involved in the staffing process.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to a high volume Talent Acquisition Team, with various aspects of the end-to-end recruiting process * Responsible for external candidate interview scheduling * Responsible for making external candidate travel arrangements and processing any reimbursements * Guide all Hiring Managers and new hires through the entire on-boarding process * Escalating any issues related to on-boarding with the appropriate Talent Acquisition and/or HR contact * Responsible for managing the end to end on-boarding process for external new hires, involving the following: drug screening, background checks, advising Hiring Managers of next steps, data transfer into HRIS system, and maintaining proper handoffs to ensure a positive on-boarding experience for all involved * Responsible for updating and maintaining all recruitment-related documents, such as employment applications, new hire binders, background check authorization forms, recruitment marketing materials, etc. * Resolve on-boarding, payroll or HRIS issues related to the hiring process * Conducting some new hire orientation sessions. Training of other HR Reps in plant locations on various background screening and on-boarding tools * Day to day management of on-boarding vendor performance and issuesKey data entry into the applicant tracking system, ensuring data integrity and compliance * Manage billing for the Talent Acquisition team * Recommending process improvements to achieve operational excellence, and documenting processes and procedures * Ad hoc project work within HR and working collaboratively with other functions
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree * Minimum of 3 years of work experience in Staffing or Human Resources positions in a mid to large corporate environment. * Excellent organizational skills, including exemplary attention to detail and accuracy * Superb communication skills, both written and oral * A customer-centric orientation * Results oriented, with a focus on solving problems and continuous improvement * Able to multi-task and prioritize independently * Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive personnel information * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, Power Point * Able to initiate and implement new programs and processes * Past experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) * Past exposure to I-9, e-Verify and background check processes and tools
