Summary
This position is part of the Talent Acquisition team and will be the point of contact for coordination of the hiring and recruiting activities for NRG Retail companies (Reliant, Green Mountain Energy, Home Services, Goal Zero, Cirro) and Corporate functions across multiple regions. The Recruiting Coordinator interacts with internal and external candidates, employees, hiring managers, service providers and staffing firms. The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for providing subject matter expertise relative to administrative and transaction processing for recruiting and on boarding efforts.
Responsibilities
* Scheduling of interviews - partnering with hiring managers and candidates while ensuring a positive candidate experience * Arrange travel for out of town candidates and process expense reimbursements * Provide follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruitment status * Assist in the process of posting positions using internal and external websites * Update candidate records and job postings in applicant tracking system (SuccessFactors) * Develop and distribute recruiting-related correspondence such as emails and letters to candidates * Prepare off-cycle, promotional and transfer offer letters based on business needs * Facilitate the background check and drug screen process for candidates * Facilitate new hire on-boarding sessions weekly. Typically on a rotational basis * Complete I-9 paperwork for new hires * Interact with hiring managers and administrative support to guide them through the recruiting and hiring process * Potential to conduct candidate phone screens and sourcing resumes * Potential Intern recruitment and coordination of events * Manage Talent Acquisition purchasing card for reconciliation * Other tasks and projects, as assigned
Ideal Candidate
**Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field highly preferred **Experience:** * 2+ years of coordination experience in Human Resources * Experience in Talent Acquisition preferred * Good analytical skills * Experience working on process improvements and efficiencies * Experience doing administrative and/or campus recruiting a plus * Relevant work experience in fast-paced environment * Ability to handle multiple priorities * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Experience with SuccessFactors applicant tracking system a plus * Knowledge of SAP preferred * Strong knowledge of Word and Excel required * Must be organized, high-energy and have a strong attention to detail **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** * Excellent internal and external customer service skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Excellent problem solving skills and ability to use good judgment * Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize work * Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with individuals at varying levels across the organization * Ability to develop a basic understanding of the processes, systems, assets, resources, key personnel and business functions of the client organization * Willing to accept accountability for own decisions, performance and behavior * Determined in completing assignments/tasks in the face of resistance or setbacks * Anticipate and accept changes in the organization and adapt to meet new requirements * Ability to perform in a high-volume transactional team environment as a team member or leader to achieve consensus decisions cross-functionally * Computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook * Experience working in a client-oriented service environment * Participate in the design and development of Human Resources processes and practices * Serve as main point of contact for recruiting and hiring related questions. Research and provide guidance on recruiting and hiring related requests * Follow documented processes and controls for adherence to audit and Sarbanes-Oxley Standards **Working Conditions:** * Professional, open-office environment with the majority of work performed on a computer in a seated position * Overtime and some non-standard working hours may be required to accommodate workload * 10% travel
