Summary
Paladin is searching for a Marketing Coordinator for our client, a tech company based in the Aurora area. This role is a great opportunity to gain a wide range of experience with a recognized brand in the tech field. In this position, which reports directly to the VP of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for implementing marketing and advertising campaigns, tracking product sales as a result of marketing campaigns, preparing marketing reports and planning trade shows, among other responsibilities.
Responsibilities
* Implement marketing and advertising campaigns by leveraging a variety of marketing mediums, including, but not limited to: social media, direct mail and email * Track product sales as a direct result of marketing campaigns * Maintain the company website to reflect current promotions, specials, upcoming events and blogs * Ensure branding is consistent across all facets of the business * Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and market trends * Participate and contribute in marketing strategy meetings. Make recommendations to the marketing team based on objective results of historic campaigns * Maintain inventory of promotional items from manufacturers * Maintain manufacturer coop and MDF accounts, including pre-approvals and final submissions. Provides frequent updates to management regarding the status of each manufacturer account * Support sales staff by providing data, market trends, account analysis, new product information; relaying customer services requests * Research competitors by identifying and evaluating various characteristics, including market share, pricing, and advertising; maintain research databases * Plan roadshows and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists * Monitor the marketing budget by analyzing spend vs. marketing fund accrual from various manufacturers * Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this job will have three-plus (3+) years of experience in a marketing job. Previous experience in the tech industry or with a distribution channel are preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as is the ability to work autonomously. * Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite * Experience using a CRM system * Experience in the Tech field a plus * Experience with a distribution channel preferred
