Summary
Western Regional Sales Manager is responsible for planning and implementing sales, both short and long range,targeted toward Argen’s existing and new markets by performing the followingduties personally or through subordinates.
Responsibilities
* Identify sales opportunities and partner with the sales team and operations to present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients. * Develops and implements strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services * Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly. * Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals. * Key or primary presenter at Argen events, trade shows and conferences in assigned territory. * Be committed to the success for the customer’s business and promoting a cross-selling approach. Ensures all sales reps follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. * Reviews and analyzes sales performances against programs, quotes, quotas and plans to determine effectiveness. Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals. * Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities. Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners. * Identify product and industry trends or issues. Effective and concisely communicates to all relevant stakeholders. * Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals. * Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales-related units. * Analyzes and controls expenditures of assigned division / team to conform to budgetary requirements. * Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion. * Analyze the territory/market potential and determine the value of existing and prospective value to the organization. * Communicate product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered to appropriate company staff. * Build trusted strong relationships and communicate effectively with all stakeholders (customers, sales team, business development team, management and technical support). * Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations for team members and ensures success through coaching, mentoring and example setting.
Ideal Candidate
* 5+ years of outside sales experience * Experience managing a sales team, preferred * Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing or associated discipline. * Knowledge of dental lab market & digital dentistry * Knowledge of Dental materials: alloy, porcelain, Zirconia * Understanding of dental lab procedures: Metal finishing and porcelain application, Implants, abutments, crowns, bridge and more. * CDT certification would be a plus * Computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD-CAM) * CRM proficiency (Salesforce.com) * Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) * Delivery and solution focused attitude with client’s best interest always in mind * Technical aptitude and analytical propensity
