Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the strategic direction and tactical execution of Paid Search Engine Marketing. Optimize paid search campaigns across multiple advertising engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc.) including campaign planning, budget management, performance review, keyword development, account setup, ad creation, content network, match types, quality score, enhanced campaigns, PLA's and conversion rates. - Work with global cross-functional teams to plan, implement and improve paid search engine marketing performance aligned with company-wide initiatives including the B to B and Retail channels. - Monitor, track and analyze performance and make necessary adjustments to maximize ROI. Understand P&L mechanics and SEM media role and CPA impact to financials. Provide benchmark and tracking reports to Executives on SEM positions, organic ranking, traffic, conversions and other metrics. - Develop SEO strategy, making recommendations for site content and architecture, link building, keywords, or any factors that may impact SEO performance. Implement recommendations, developing timeline and working with development and product teams. Support and develop paid advertising campaigns in social media, covering networks such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and other industry-specific networks. - Review metrics against expected/forecasted results, measure channel effectiveness and ROAS and CAC on all marketing campaigns this position oversees. - Provides clear direction to advertising production and MIS regarding every effort and project that this position oversees. Ensures that all creative adheres to brand guidelines. Communicates the relevant details of all marketing promotions with Inventory Management, Customer Care, Order Entry, the Call Center and OCG. Responsible for gross margins and profitability for all managed promotions to meet overall department goals. - Codes invoices and tracks advertising budget for managed programs.
Ideal Candidate
- 4-year college degree or equivalent in Marketing. - 3-5 years' prior experience in on-page SEO and SEM strategies. - Strong PC knowledge, including Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); proficient keyboard skills. - Proficient in Site Analytics Tool. - Google Adwords Certification a plus. - Must be able to handle multiple tasks with continual interruptions. - High attention to detail with an ability to analyze key marketing metrics. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to quickly reprioritize tasks and focus to achieve immediate goals of the division.
