Summary
The HRIS Manager will report to the Head of Compensation, Benefits and HRIS and will drive projects that may be global or regional in scope. The HRIS Manager will provide technical and functional support as well as guidance for all HR systems; resolve system problems, maintain HR system configuration in Oracle PeopleSoft, Oracle Taleo, Success Factors modules, and other applications as needed. The HRIS Manager will consult with business and process owners to understand the business case for development requests, process improvements, interfaces (internal and external), or enhancements, evaluate/assess the request and implement approved requirements.
Responsibilities
* Drive the development of HERE’s HR Technology Strategy and Roadmap Implement and support new systems, processes and tools to continually streamline HR business processes. * Evaluate current processes to identify areas for improvement through technical solutions. * Lead and/or participate in projects/business requests from conception to implementation including: project management, requirements gathering, functional specification documentation, system testing, managing end user acceptance testing, and end user documentation. * Execute system interfaces, upgrades, performance enhancements and user experience improvements. * Build and maintain HR system configuration tables in both Oracle PeopleSoft, Oracle Taleo and Success Factors modules and other applications * Build productive relationships with HR team and key business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into system and reporting requirements. * Run ad hoc processes for auditing and troubleshooting both scheduled and ad hoc processes, such as interfaces between all systems to maintain overall data integrity. * Coordinate with stakeholders, internal users and business to gather feedback on HR processes and the system to be used for continuous improvement efforts. Stay abreast of the latest HR technologies to serve as subject matter expert for HR team. * Develop metrics to determine success of our technology solutions and business processes. * Ensure that users and the HR team are properly trained, and that there is adequate documentation of processes and procedures.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources or related field required * 7+ years of HR technology project implementation experience with demonstrated results in developing business requirements, deploying applicable technologies and business process re-engineering. * 7+ years of practical HR knowledge and experience, including core HR processes (applicant tracking, talent management, reporting, compensation planning). * 5+ years of experience in HRIS role supporting customized and 3rd party HR applications required. * Technical expertise with Oracle PeopleSoft, Oracle Taleo and Success Factors query development and report building. * Experience with key HR programs including recruitment and compensation, budgets and ability to understand the nature and flow of the business and apply it to the analysis. * Superior communication skills; Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on controversial or complex topics to employee groups, management and vendors. * Ability to work with confidential materials and employee information and maintain confidentiality at all times. * Highly organized, self-motivated and able to work independently as well as manage the work of others * Strong working knowledge with Microsoft applications, OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition), PC hardware and software skills.
