Summary

The Lead HRTS Analyst is responsible for performing business analysis and support of HR technology systems. The Lead HRTS Analyst will support a range of projects, corporate and divisional HRTS initiatives involving business acquisitions, system upgrades/enhancements and maintenance of all Human Capital Management (HCM) systems. The Lead HRTS Analyst leads multiple work activities/projects of high complexity and impact/risk. The Lead HRTS has deep expertise in several areas of HR Technology, while also having an end-to-end perspective of HR systems and processes.

Responsibilities

Talent Management Configuration & Support

  • Enhancing our Talent Management cloud solutions to support the following processes: Goals and Performance Management, Talent Reviews, Succession Planning
  • Projects
  • Leads/project manages HRTS sponsored projects or annual events. Oversees the completion of project deliverables or assignments, including planning, assigning, monitoring, reviewing progress and accuracy of work, and evaluating results, etc.
  • Acts as a functional leader on larger projects.
  • Leads design sessions and approves design of functional requirements/specifications for new development and ongoing projects.
  • Participates in project activities including JADs, status meetings, testing, setup in test environment, setup in production, updates to users, roles, permissions and query access.
  • Acts as security subject matter expert responsible for strategy, design and implementation of new security roles within Oracle Fusion
  • Plans, designs, develops and executes test scenarios and scripts.
  • Manages and executes scheduled releases and patches

Process Improvement

  • Identifies, analyzes, recommends, and implements process improvements
  • Uses knowledge of current HR Technology trends and best practices to focus on long-term and end-to-end process improvement and recommend technology improvement
  • Provide technology lens/input to enterprise talent management processes in order to facilitate management of implementation, review, and continuous improvement of talent management processes, including:
    • Proactively provide recommendation on new functionality that can bolster existing business process (e.g. based on new functionality/upgrades, HRTS sees an opportunity to leverage it in support of our existing business process)
    • Provide recommendation on functionality that can resolve new feedback/problems/concerns

Production Support

  • Provide technology lens/input to the design and maintenance of targeted talent management and development initiatives
  • Partner with Talent Management to educate and inform relevant division technology / service center stakeholders on system enhancements and upgrades (i.e. new functionality, upgrades, patches, etc.)
  • Leads analysis and design of Talent Management modules. Ensures efficient and accurate system production and maintenance of system tables.
  • Oversees, coordinates/manages work of third- party vendors for ongoing support activities.
  • Identifies, removes and resolves key barriers/issues through innovative solutions.
  • Escalation for third- level support issues not able to be solved by Senior HRTS Analyst.
  • Performs production operation tasks/activities as needed, including running payroll processing jobs.

System Maintenance

  • Lead the review, testing and implementation of system upgrades, planned releases, or patches for HR SaaS solutions
  • Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix
  • Documents process, results and maintains configuration workbooks
  • Maintains proper configuration in HR systems, including business rules and workflow
  • Performs other duties as assigned. Depending on department and business needs, primary focus areas may change.
Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Human Resource Information Professional (HRIP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications preferred

System Knowledge/Experience:

  • Minimum of seven years professional experience; minimum of seven years working knowledge of HR Systems within the talent management umbrella: Recruiting, Onboarding, Goals and Performance, Talent Reviews, Succession Planning
  • Experience with one or more of the following: PeopleSoft, Fusion, Taleo or other enterprise supported cloud platforms
  • Experience with project management tools and methods. Previous project management experience a plus
  • Advanced experience with one or more of the following: PeopleSoft query development, Microsoft Access, Excel, SQL and Hyperion
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, presentation and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to build relationships and interact with senior management
  • Ability to make decisions considering long-term implications
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of organization’s current technologies and practices and understanding of strategic direction
  • Ability to be flexible and respond to varied demands
