Responsibilities
* HRIS is responsible for leads full life-cycle execution of mid-sized IT projects from project planning, execution and implementation of technology-enabled solutions for the global Human Resources (HR) organization * Partners with the HR community at all levels, from VPs to practitioners, to ensure project objectives are understood * Collaborates with IT and HR management (at the Corporate level and in all regions) to ensure global alignment and consistency * Partners with IT Technical Managers and IT Business Analysts to ensure projects meet stated objectives and are on time and within budget * The right candidate will have extensive experience with core HCM functionality and Talent Management systems that streamline HR business processes
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline; MBA is desired * At least 10 years of experience in applications design, development, testing and implementation of business applications (preferably Human Capital Management related) * At least 10 years of direct experience in leading IT related projects that comprise of cross functional team on a regional or global basis with proven record of deploying projects to meet objectives, milestones and budget * At least 5 years of experience managing HR Technology projects is highly desired * Extensive experience with the Workday HCM Suite or other equivalent HCM applications is highly desired * Experience with Payroll and T&A system deployments is highly desirable * Understanding of Environment Health & Safety technologies and processes is a plus * Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management techniques and tools with proven ability to apply them in the context of IT projects; Formal professional project management certification preferred (e.g. PMI-related like PMP, PgMP or PRINCE2 accreditation); Well-versed in best practices in project management * Proficient in the use of project management software * Proven ability to successfully manage technology-enabled projects for multiple process areas * Strong leadership, management and organizational skills. Proven ability to deliver results * Proven ability to manage across functions and successfully engage and influence others outside area of control * Previous experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement, utilizing tools and techniques to effect business change; business systems analysis experience * Experience implementing technology in multiple countries across multiple regions of the world * Proven understanding of cultural differences and ability to impact across cultures * Proven ability to lead a customer-focused and excellence-driven team
