For all of these reasons, NatureBox is dedicated to making snacking part of a well-balanced lifestyle.
This role will report to the CMO and will be responsible for day-to-day media outreach as well as managing an external PR agencies and contacts. This person should have a network of strong contacts in all top-tier press outlets and the ability to quickly form new relationships with the press when needed.

Own and oversee our PR strategy – identify what key messages we want to see pull-through in our PR outreach, and what to prioritize in the short term and long term.

Develop a plan for national consumer, business, food, and tech press as well as local press.

Work closely with our engineering, product, corporate/retail sales, operations, customer service, and finance teams along with external partners to create strategic messaging and assets around NatureBox products and initiatives.

Vet and maximize inbound PR requests

Draft all press releases, quotes, award applications, e-interview responses for the company and founders.

Maintain our PR calendar and manage any speaking opportunities for the founders.

Create and execute events for editors/influencers - we’re looking for interesting ways to engage the press here so creativity is a plus!

Create a system to track, share, and measure our PR success

Develop and manage NatureBox Corporate Social Responsibility programs.

Manage Corporate Communications.

5 - 10 years experience in Public Relations with preference for both in-house and agency.

Bachelor's Degree with strong academic results.

Experience working in marketing communications with consumer food, tech, and high-growth stage companies with a fast-paced environment.

Experience running PR campaigns from start-to-finish in the consumer space.

Strong judgment and ability to think about high-level strategic priorities, but ability to roll-up your sleeves and get involved in the details.

Strong relationships with top-tier consumer/business/tech media contacts

Excellent writing skills, with samples to share.

Strong verbal communications skills – you will be our brand ambassador to the press, so we need you to articulately communicate our vision with each interaction.

An ability to use data and metrics to analyze the tangible impact of media outreach on NatureBox core KPIs.
