Summary
Spredfast is looking for a Social Media Analyst to join our fast-growing Social Strategy Team. This person will be responsible for creating reports that provide a visual representation of social media performance and insights, and delivering actionable, data-driven recommendations to our customers. The ideal candidate has experience with measuring social media channels and campaigns who can create best-in-class performance and impact reports. This role will also assist with the development of research-backed social media marketing playbooks, be able to establish channel-specific KPIs and execute other social strategy-centric deliverables, as well as optimizing and analyzing paid social media campaigns. A successful candidate must be able to think strategically to identify issues that need to be prioritized or resolved, and they will have a clear understanding of best practices for measuring campaigns across all of the major social channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.). This role will report to the Senior Strategist of Performance & Impact and work closely with the sales and professional services teams to enable world-class social media measurement and reporting for Spredfast customers.
Responsibilities
* Analyze trends and innovations in social media measurement models and tools; * Collect, analyze and interpret both organic and paid data to generate reports that provide a visual representation of social media campaign performance and insights; * Pivot campaign performance data in Excel to provide clear and effective communication to internal account teams and customers; * Collect and analyze information from multiple data sources, ensuring data is reliable, using technical expertise and tools to uncover insights, statistics and trends; * Responsible for downloading raw data reports that chart customer KPIs and provide insight and analysis as to what the numbers mean for the customer’s daily operations as well as long-term strategy; * Inform the roadmap of Spredfast products that facilitate measuring performance and impact, and be an internal champion for analytics and paid media optimization at Spredfast; * Facilitate the productization of Strategic Analytics Services at Spredfast.
Ideal Candidate
* At least 3-5 years experience in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations or statistics; * Proven passion for, and expert in, social media analysis; * Experience with social media platforms, including but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest and more; * Experience optimizing or reporting on social media paid advertising campaigns including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube, Instagram and Pinterest; * Demonstrated experience in creating and executing measurement reporting and optimizing paid media campaigns on behalf of a brand or media company; * Excellent project management skills and are highly organized; * Work efficiently, are dependable and have an entrepreneurial spirit; * Ability to rapidly assess, analyze, and resolve complicated issues with little initial information or direction and with varying degrees of ambiguity; * Moderate travel will be required.
