Summary
Provides worldwide Human Resources leadership to enable business performance by partnering with the functional leaders to identify and address talent needs that align with the business strategy. Responsible for the effective delivery of HR programs and policies to the organization. Develop talent management strategies that support the culture and drive profitable growth. Partner with VP and other senior HR leaders to create a world-class HR team.
Responsibilities
* Partner with the functional leaders to develop talent management strategies aligned with company/BU strategy and culture. Balance corporate, BU and geographic needs. * Foster and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders. Creates an environment of partnership and collaboration with other leaders and functions both within HR as well as the rest of the organization. * Energize, motivate and provide vision and direction to the team. Through subordinate managers ensures the effective integration of staff into the areas they support. Assess on a regular basis and make adjustments and/or recommend changes to improve the impact on the business. Provide coaching and development feedback to employees. * Responsible for the on-going management and development of assigned employees. Determines staffing and skill requirements to meet departmental needs, and implements plans to satisfy those requirements. * Keeps track of the organizational pulse and communicates this on a regular basis to the HR leadership team. * As a member of the HR leadership team, take part in developing HR-related strategies, priorities and operational plans. * Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications:** * Bachelors and Masters degrees required. * Minimum 15 years results-oriented experience in a broad HR or business capacity with a minimum of 5 years leading people. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience leading a global human resources organization with ability to understand the nuances of cultural differences and assess impact to recommendations is preferred. * Demonstrated ability to align organization systems, processes, and structures to business strategies and objectives. * Demonstrated ability to work with employees and managers in a wide variety of organizational settings. * Proven ability to influence, change the thinking of and/or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations without damage to the relationship. * Proven advance knowledge and application of HR practices, principles, applicable laws and regulations. * High level of interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across the organization. * Demonstrated ability to employ sound judgment and problem solving skills in complex situations. * High degree of confidentiality. * Be a role model for the MTS values and culture. * Ability to work effectively across our global HR organization by creating relationships as a trusted advisor. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. * PHR or SPHR preferred.
