Summary
The Recruitment Coordinator will support the Medtronic Diabetes Talent Acquisition team and perform a wide variety of support and administration activities. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to expand their career in Human Resources!
Responsibilities
* Provide support to Talent Acquisition team in the scheduling and coordinating interviews, travel and expenses for candidates. * Assist with job postings, update Taleo applicant tracking database and close out requisitions upon final candidate hired. * Monitor completion of background checks and close out hiring process * Gather, collect, complete, and ensure accuracy of all new hire paperwork, employment forms, I-9s and training records and immigration visas and set up new hire files. * Provide support for Summer Internship Program. * Provide support for NEO process, including ensuring accuracy of NEO participant list, participating in check-in process * Backup TA Team, Talent Management and Total Rewards coordinators * Act as liaison to visitors to HR department and direct them to appropriate resources. * Save all resumes and job descriptions of new hires electronically, create promotion letters and collect signed letters with updated resumes and save electronically to ensure compliance. * Responsible for upkeep and current maintenance of file room * Identify and distribute department mail; administer overnight mail for HR department. * Safety Coordinator for HR department. Responsible for educating HR staff on safety procedures and compliance. * Generate weekly reports for HR and Talent Acquisition team. * Identify opportunities for process improvement. * Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications:** * High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of work experience OR Bachelors Degree and 2+ years of work experience. * Experience coordinating meetings * 1+ year experience in coordinating electronic meeting/calendar, making travel arrangements, coordinating meetings and/or appointments. * Demonstrated expertise and proficiency using MS office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. * Demonstrated experience working on multiple daily tasks. **Desired/Preferred Qualifications:** * Bachelors Degree preferably in Human Resources. * 2+ years experience providing administrative support to a Talent Acquisition/Recruitment/HR team * Working knowledge of Taleo, Workday or other HRIS systems strongly preferred. * Work experience in a fast paced, large corporate dynamic environment. * Demonstrated ability to successfully multi-task and prioritize work. * Demonstrated ability to identify, research, and resolve problems. * Detail-oriented, including demonstrated follow-up skills. * Motivated, independent self starter with a positive attitude strongly preferred * Excellent customer-service skills required --- must be able to assist internal and external customers with discretion and professionalism ("can do" attitude). * Must be flexible to changing priorities and needs of the team and overall HR department. * Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters and data. * Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and interpret documents and respond to questions about Company policies, programs and processes. * Must be highly organized and establish effective follow up procedures.
