Summary
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Product Marketing, the Strategic Relationships Product Marketing Manager helps generate both strategic advantage and new business through joint offerings with third parties and affiliates, and developing winning responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). In this role, this individual works across the company to develop new initiatives and take assigned initiatives to market—building and developing comprehensive business proposals that effectively present the unique value and benefits of Lytx products, solutions and services to win the business. This individual is organized, detail-oriented, has impeccable project management and communication skills, and works independently and collaboratively across marketing and other functions. The individual also develops processes to enable the function to scale.
Responsibilities
* Seizing market opportunities by developing, managing and implementing strategic third party initiatives and programs * Generating new business by leading cross-functional company responses to Requests for Proposals (RFP) * Developing successful Go To Market (GTM) plans for ARPU enhancers, including RAIR * Product Lifecycle Management support for special assignments **Areas of Focus:** * Works cross functionally to create and execute offerings made possible through third parties — accelerating overall time to market. * Develops successful objectives, strategies, and plans for winning with 3rd party offerings. * Creates product launch and lifecycle marketing plans for ARPU enhancers including RAIR, partner and affiliate offers. * Execute plans staying well integrated and coordinated with broader Marketing and Sales teams. * Reviews incoming RFPs, determines, recommends and manages the appropriate action plan for each. This includes summary of the business solution and rationale for winning, information requirements, probable competitors, subject matter experts (SMEs) that need to be informed or engaged, any risks or concerns, and timing. * Maintains a solid understanding of the Lytx products, solutions and services as well as competitors in order to provide well-articulated competitive proposal content and language. Engages and/or notifies appropriate Lytx Sales and Marketing team members as required in the completion of the RFP response/business proposal. * Works across the organization to build the business proposal and gives the RFP a full and professional response. * Drives the development and delivery of the RFP business proposal; monitors timeline, milestones and performance; defines action plans to close gaps; and seeks support and guidance as required. In many cases, the individual will write and compile responses. * Follows Lytx internal processes and guidelines for reviews (marketing, sales and legal review) and submission of the RFP response. * Submits response/business proposal and tracks status. * Receives and responds to all follow-up queries. * Develops and maintains RFP content database, ensuring high quality and efficiency of proposal writing and responses. * Routinely reports and assesses RFP response results. Publishes quarterly report, including an executive summary and lessons learned to inform future business and roadmap enhancements.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field. * 7+ years experience in product marketing required. * Demonstrated success with implementing third party programs. * Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
