Summary
The Manager of Media Field Marketing is the driving force behind our media solutions business, focused on our GDS Media and Preference solutions. As part of the Global Field Marketing team, you will work within the product management organization and interact heavily with the global sales force. The goal will be to generate continued revenue growth by creating and implementing our go-to-market and product marketing strategy. The role entails leveraging best-in-class digital media strategies and techniques to produce high ROI results for TravelClick’s hospitality clients.
Responsibilities
* Actively participate in the planning, coordination, communication and execution of new product launches, programs and promotions with Product, Operations and the Sales organization * Build go-to-market plans by planning, executing and scaling marketing campaigns for specific products * Capture and elevate feedback from the field to the Product team, such as new competitive threats, specialized market needs, new market opportunities and client feedback to value proposition * Lead regional sales team product trainings on GDS media and preference solutions. Know how to position our value proposition and clearly identify customer segments * Build confidence and expertise where needed and demonstrate effective selling techniques and best practices with our sales team * Track individual and regional performance against goal, and actively engage sellers to meet and exceed targets * Drive pipeline generation, acceleration and relationship building: * Drive marketing to contribute to growing the sales pipeline * Execute program & build relationships for customers, prospects, partners executives * Run global and local demand generation campaigns * Work cross-functionally with multiple internal/external stakeholders to execute marketing plans * Participate in large customer engagements – RFPs and other opportunities - to win and retain GDS Media business by acting as the Subject Matter Expert and pulling together media products into a cohesive customer focused strategy * Serve as a media thought leader that can devise, execute, and communicate a vision related to innovative media solutions for the hospitality industry
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelors Degree * 7+ years digital experience, ideally in a field marketing or product marketing role. * Demonstrated success driving sales of a product through a business-to-business sales force organization. * Strong communication and client skills required. * Ability to understand how to identify client needs, present compelling solutions and how to teach a sales force to simplify and position products to close sales. * Self- starter, strong project management and organizational skills and high personal accountability, resilience and drive. * Capacity to manage multiple projects, tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced exciting environment. * 30%Travel
