Summary
The primary responsibility of the Sales Assistant is to provide administrative support to designated Sales Managers or Directors. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian. The Palazzo Casino Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Manage effectively within the defined sales roles, internal sales processes and departmental/Company policies and procedures. - Maintain Company professional standards Code of Conduct at all times. - Generate proposals, contracts, addendums and turnovers in an efficient and timely manner. - Generate expense reports and route accordingly. - Update and complete all data for complimentary charges within the CTJS - Process Amenity orders for Site inspections and VIP's as needed. - Scheduling of appointments, maintain Calendars and make travel arrangements. - Answers, screens and routes telephone calls as needed. - Assists with phone and receptionist coverage. - Assists managers with site inspection coordination as needed. - Develop and maintain positive and appropriate relationships with clients and guests to support sales efforts. - Initiative to solve problems to resolution. - Support other members of the Sales Team as needed. * Effectively utilize and enter data into the CRM systems to document all pertinent contract routings and information as defined by department SOP’s. - Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job - Performs other related duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate
- Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent - Experience - Minimum of 1 year administrative experience - Microsoft Office 2013 to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Some Familiarity with Delphi or Daylight or CRM - Organization skills and coordinating work without direct supervision - Attention to detail - Customer Service Skills - Communication Skills, written and oral - Listening Skills - Time Management and Organization Skills - PC proficient in applications such as Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and Power Point. - Must be 21 years of age with proof to work. **Physical Requirements:** - Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment. - Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines. - Must be able to frequently move freely about the office, maintain manual dexterity to access computer via computer keyboard and operate office equipment, such as telephones, copiers, fax machine, etc. - Withstand various activities such as frequent walking, sitting for long periods and withstand prolonged standing.
