Customer Assistance Representative

* Conduct the coordination and response to all inquiries or complaints concerning our shipments from a North American facility * Enter customer complaints, concerns and issues into SAP’s CRM complaint System * Coordinate or facilitate quality related complaints with the appropriate facility QA Department * Document, investigate, and define corrective action and resolution for customer complaints such as damage, quantity discrepancies, and any other issues that may occur after a product shipment * Assist in building customer relationships by accompanying the CAR Manager or Sales Team on customer visits or calls * Other duties as assigned

* Minimum of five years’ customer service / supply chain experience * Working knowledge of SAP system * Working knowledge of personal computers, Microsoft Office software programs such as Excel, Access and PowerPoint * Critical skill set for Customer Assistance include: * Excellent oral, written and telephone communication skills * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment * Detail oriented and the ability to prioritize, organize, and follow through * Ability to multi task, investigate, summarize, offer creative solutions, take initiative and work independent of supervision * Being professional and working in a courteous manner is essential. * Results oriented with a “can do” attitude
