Based in San Diego and Chicago, Gurtin Fixed Income Management, LLC is an SEC registered investment advisor specializing in separately managed high grade tax-exempt and taxable fixed income portfolios for high and ultra-high net worth individuals and families, many of whom have been included in the Forbes 400 list of wealthiest individuals. We also work with many independent investment consulting firms and multi-family offices to build fixed income related financial solutions to meet their clients' unique needs. We do not define ourselves as either a "municipal" or "taxable" fixed income manager. Instead, we define ourselves as a fixed income manager that analyzes each client's tax and liquidity situation individually and focuses on identifying the securities that offer the highest after-tax yield with the lowest risk and volatility. In order to ensure the gilt-edged nature of our portfolios, we employ an integrated Portfolio Management process that incorporates our deep Credit Research and premium institutional Trade Execution capabilities.
