Summary
Under the direction of the Head of the Global Program Management Office, this position will plan, manage and deliver IT projects and programs. The Program Manager will lead programs that are either IT specific or in support of Business goals or initiatives. In support of the PMO guidelines and best practices, he/she must ensure that appropriate project and software development methodologies/processes are administered and followed. The Program Manager must possess strong project and relationship management skills and be an effective communicator.
Responsibilities
* Manages multiple projects under a program to an agreed upon acceptable level or risk - managing scope, time, cost, quality and to stakeholder expectations. * Establishes and manages financial budgets for projects (e.g., cost/invoice tracking) with timely communication of variances. * Monitors and reports related program and project status and financials. * Facilitates necessary interactions and communications with all project stakeholders and team members in managing efficient project execution. * Coordinates IT support resources across multiple brands, divisions, and departments, local and remote locations to drive effective collaboration. * Maintains a close working relationship with project teams, stakeholders/internal customers as required to meet business objectives * Establishes and maintains relationships with contractors and suppliers * Manages the project managers who are working within his or her scope of program management * Supports the continued maturity of the PMO through adoption of changes and new directives and by proactively providing feedback to the Head of the Global PMO.
Ideal Candidate
**Minimum Qualifications** * Bachelors degree in business, computer science or related field. * Minimum of 6 years of related experience in project and/or technology management positions * Knowledge of IT processes, general controls and project management and system development life cycles. * Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or its equivalent preferred. * Knowledge of the real estate services industry a plus. **Required Skills** * Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time, on budget while meeting or exceeding client expectations. * Experience in managing and reporting on project financials. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills. * Strong management and communication skills (verbal and written) * Ability to drive collaboration among stakeholders and project team members. * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally
