Senior Project Manager

* Responsible for the performance of application development projects involving 8 – 20 personnel. Directs and supervises all support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities. Also responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned projects and for supporting new business development by leading small proposals ($10M – $20M) or assisting with major proposals ($20M+).Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, IT support, and client services. Defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. * Serves as the primary management interface for the customer. Provides management services including general administrative oversight, time accounting. financial tracking, cost projection, inventory management, personnel evaluation and support. Responsible for the preparation of and accountability for all contract deliverables. Responsible for assisting in the leadership and direction to a multidisciplinary staff. Prepares and approves Standard Operating Procedures, Protocols and other technical documentation. Able to supervise, manage, support and evaluate personnel.

* Requires BA/BS with 10 years of experience with at least 4 years of management level responsibility. Incumbent has specialized knowledge in at least one area of expertise and a general knowledge in 1-2 other areas. * Must be a US Citizen * Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 10 - 12 years of experience or a Master's with 8 - 10 years of experience. At least 4 years in a supervisory capacity. * Excellent communication skills * Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified * Able to obtain a Public Trust Background Investigation * Background on IRS and/or TIPSS-4 contracts * Experience with task orders on an IDIQ; specific experience with TIPSS-4 and the Treasury/IRS preferred. * Experience with Agile software development using scrum or Kanban in a CMMI Level 2 environment. * Experience with Business Intelligence systems and the SAP BI tools and technologies.
