Summary
We are looking for an experienced payroll manager to join our growing team. This person will have the opportunity to make an impact on the processes and successful execution of our companywide payroll. This position will report to the VP of Finance.
Responsibilities
* Manage the semi-monthly US payroll processes for 300+ employees; including review of leave of absence payments, retroactive payments, bonuses, new hires, time reporting for hourly workers, and other miscellaneous payroll data. * Manage equity software, including option exercises. * Respond to employee inquiries concerning payroll, ensuring high employee satisfaction. * Follow all company policies, procedures, and SOX compliance. * Prepare amendments and follow up on tax resolution issues. * Perform monthly payroll close duties; including but not limited to, the preparation of period-end accruals, and reconciling the payroll and benefit-related accounts. * Manage audit related activities of payroll function. * Responsible for payroll policies & procedures. * Work with HR on employee benefits and withholding (401K, Flex spending, etc) elections. * Review all payroll reporting and ensure accurate and timely filing with appropriate governmental authorities * Assist in the implementation of ADP. * Special projects as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
* 5+ years of experience in Payroll * Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Highly analytical with working knowledge of general payroll protocols, accounting principles and Federal and State regulations. * Advanced level experience with ADP systems. * Prior experience with system upgrades and implementations. * Highly analytical with working knowledge of general payroll protocols, accounting principles and Federal and State regulations. * Experience with the Shareworks equity management system is a plus. * CEP qualification preferred.
