Summary
The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for supporting the recruiting team (there are 8 of them working remotely across the country and 2 in our Home Office in Lebanon, TN but don’t worry they are all pretty self-sufficient!) You will keep the process organized, and actively maintain clear lines of communication with recruiters, candidates, and interviewers throughout the process from sourcing to onboarding. This position will assist in creating content for social media recruiting, and engaging potential candidates. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of departments within Cracker Barrel to make our candidate experience top notch! We are seeking someone who has an appreciation for hiring team needs, priorities, and scheduling challenges and is driven to make things as easy and efficient as possible. Your days will be busy and no two will be exactly alike.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with training/travel team to ensure new managers start off successfully—schedule training dates, send new hire paperwork, assigns training stores, distributes per diem payments, etc. * Coordinate with Travel Managers to ensure all travel arrangements are complete. * Work with HR team to ensure background checks and driver’s license requirements are met. * Assist Home Office Talent Acquisition managers with on-site candidate experience. * Assist in coordination of recruiting events. * Social Media engagement – sharing content on events, promotions, and opportunities.
Ideal Candidate
**Requirements:** * High school diploma required with 3 years of Human Resources related experience. Prefer college degree in Human Resources or related field with 1 - 3 years Human Resources related experience. * Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel. * Excellent administrative, time management and organizational skills. * Strong oral and written communication skills. * Advanced analytical and decision making skills with a high degree of detail-orientation. * Friendly and outgoing personality that matches our Pleasing People Culture. * Availability for occasional work outside of the regularly scheduled work hours. * Knowledge of various social media platforms. **Preferred** * Knowledge of recruitment process and operations best practices. * Direct experience managing candidates through full search life cycle. * Previous experience with ATS system strongly preferred. * Appreciation for hiring team needs, priorities, and scheduling challenges. * Driven to make things easier and as efficient as possible.
