Summary
Human Resource Specialist will be a resource for both internal and external customers in all of their HR needs. The HR Specialist will provide support to the HR Supervisor and HR Manager by delivering Human Resources services and policies, as well as assist team members with any type of HR related questions and concerns they may have. The HR Specialist will focus on recruiting efforts for the facility.
Responsibilities
Coordinate the recruiting efforts for the facility for all non-exempt positions that includes the following: * Post jobs * Screen candidates * Conduct and schedule interviews * Make job offers * Schedule pre-employment activities * Schedule orientation for new hires * Assist new hires with new hire paperwork * Maintain staffing sheets * Oversee the internal job transfer program * Attend job fairs when scheduled * Complete I9 and e-verify. * General HR Support for internal/external customers. * Serve as a backup to other Human Resources positions. * Assist with meetings/trainings as needed. * Translate when needed. * Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. * 2 years of related experience in Human Resources role is preferred. * Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word, and Gmail including Google platform. * Basic accounting principles required to reconcile and balance payroll records. * Familiarity with Payroll, FMLA, Benefits and Personal Leave processes. * Experience with recruiting. * Ability to work independently on multiple projects and meet deadlines. * Decision-making and analytical skills. * Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) is preferred. * Must be detailed oriented. * Strong interpersonal skills. * Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. * Able to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines. * Must be able to work extended hours and weekends if needed.
