Summary
We currently have an opening for an HR Assistant to work with our Human Resources Team in our New York City Headquarters.
Responsibilities
**Recruiting** * File resumes in our online tracking system * Post job descriptions for open positions * Coordinate interview schedules and room reservations for office visits * Prepare decline letters and visiting instructions for applicants * Collect feedback forms on interviewed candidates * Track campus recruiting statistics * Set new hires up in our onboarding system **Programs/Events** * Assist with logistics for upcoming campus events (ie. give-aways, directions, attendees, etc) * Coordinate onboarding details for new hire programs and orientations (ie. welcome notes, directions, confirmation emails, etc.) * Participate in coordination of employee morale events * Assist with set-up for firm events, name tags, catering, materials, etc., and serve as point of contact for facilitators, when needed (State of the Firm, Summer Leadership) **Reporting** * Run metrics reports for the HR team utilizing Excel * Assist with performance management reports **General HR Duties** * Assist with PowerPoint slides and collecting information for our annual review meetings * Track employee PTO forms * Collect and take photos for employee picture directory * Respond to employment verifications and letters * Input employee work schedules utilizing ProStaff * Provide additional administrative support to the New York Human Resources team, as needed
Ideal Candidate
**Essential Experience (and special skills):** * Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment is required * Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Previous work experience in a business setting is a plus * Proficient in all Microsoft desktop software, in particular, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is a MUST * Positive work and team attitude! **Education:** * Successful candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration.
