Summary
* The Digital Marketing Service Owner is responsible for successfully managing all aspects of a collection of applications/services that support Avanade's business and capabilities within the Digital Marketing space. Focusing on both new initiatives as well as existing capabilities, the Service Owner will work closely with Avanade's business leadership to understand the business priorities, and deliver technology to support these priorities. * New, more complex demands are being placed on IT to deliver large scale, transformational programs enabling digital * transformation. The Enterprise Applications organization within Avanade IT is seeking a leader who can fulfill this responsibility. The Digital Marketing Service Owner will build, develop, coach and enable his/her respective team for execution on all programs and capabilities. * Communicating and collaborating effectively and globally are important required skills to be successful in this role. The Service Owner will need to engage multiple operating groups and business functions worldwide to define solutions that truly meet end user and business owner needs. They must lead internal teams (on and offshore) to deliver on time and on budget.
Responsibilities
• Influence the strategy and lead the execution of how Avanade uses Digital Marketing capabilities to enable business objectives and priorities. • Responsible for the systems enabling Digital Marketing, integration of marketing management tools, web analytics and integration of CRM and Marketo data and to ensure the quality and consistency of ITS's data delivery capabilities. • Establish and maintain relationships with Avanade business stakeholders, helping bridge their business needs into IT solutions where applicable. The Business Insights team develops an understanding of how data is used on an enterprise level and defines solutions to meet existing needs while influencing the transformation of processes. • Ensure that application development is conducted in an efficient prioritized and coordinated manner and that the team remains focused and motivated to that aim. • Assuring data architecture is developed and maintained in a manner that will allow the business to sustain accelerated growth capability • Building, developing, inspiring and aligning the team while increasing group effectiveness • Deliver solutions that serve as showcases of Microsoft technology and Avanade services. Serve as a credential for customer sales teams supporting sales efforts. • Influence Requirements identification to create differentiation and manage the feature set to generate results. • Manage the creation of solution blueprint and program estimates. • Lead the execution of work streams to deliver to customer expectations. **Scope of Work** Autonomy and Decision Making: Operates with significant autonomy and latitude in meetings. Owns multiple services/ solutions. Has full responsibility for maintaining relationship with multiple strategic customers. Has responsibility for delivering innovation and value to customer. Makes decisions which have major impact on company's results. Customer sponsorship: Sponsors customer relationship. Determines strategic technology planning and business case development. Determines service transformation and ensures alignment with partners and industry. Sets annual plan and growth targets for assigned services. Plans, manages, monitors and evaluates multiple functions' ongoing performance and the quality of its outputs and services. Accountable for the effective performance of multiple solutions including understanding rhythms of business to best support capability and delivery needs. Provides motivational leadership for team, clearly communicating vision and values. Identifies, coaches and develops key talent across Avanade. Develops managers and senior individual contributors, and supports development of ITS succession plans. Mentors cross functional teams working on solution development projects that impact business function.
Ideal Candidate
**Years of Experience** • 8 + years in the IT industry with significant experience in Solutions • Management Consulting /program-based background/Team Leadership • Content management and marketing automation tools • Creation and management of public facing websites • Web Analytics – Marketo, Sitecore, SEO **Management Experience** • 4+ years of management experience **Education** • B.S. in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field (preferred). MBA Preferred **Other Skills/Knowledge:** - Program Management - scoping, planning, staffing and managing of projects which are resourced and executed by teams spanning multiple regions and organizations. - Relationship management - ability to cultivate and maintain strong networks of people who contribute to the success of the function. - Vendor management - demonstrated experience in selecting, negotiating and managing vendors. - Business process analysis and optimization. - Systems Engineering - understanding of networking and hardware configuration, in order to analyze and assess infrastructure environments. - Financial skills - ability to interact with Financial Analysts, as well as personally analyze and assess financial impacts and business cases. - Required Certifications: PMI or equivalent project management certification preferred - Additional Area, Region or Service Line specific requirements: N/A
