Summary
AppNexus is looking for a Technical Sourcer to strategically identify and engage top engineering talent for AppNexus. S/he will work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to define and execute against creative and methodical search strategies. The Technical Sourcer will also manage research projects relating competitive intelligence, diversity initiatives, industry developments and organizational mappings as it pertains to AppNexus engineering & product teams. This role is perfect for an analytical and dynamic team player that thrives in an agile, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to identify high-quality and diverse engineering talent pools/leads through proactive research techniques * Screen and qualify prospective engineering candidates against defined requirements, and convert qualified passive leads to active candidates * Develop methodical, creative sourcing strategies for engineering positions * Pipeline passive talent by leveraging research, complex Internet searches and networking * Manage ongoing projects and initiatives (examples include competitor intelligence, diversity initiatives and new market talent mapping) * Own the employee referral process
Ideal Candidate
**About your skills:** * 2+ years of experience as Technical Recruiter or Sourcer, preferably in a high growth environment with a focus on software and technology * Ability to source passive candidates through various avenues including: LinkedIn, social media sites/campaigns, events, hack-a-thons and other unique means to engage candidates * Demonstrated ability screening for highly technical positions at all levels * Practice identifying strengths and areas of development in a potential hire * Bachelor’s degree is preferred **More about you:** * You are passionate about a culture of learning and teaching.
