Summary
As part of the Synapse recruiting team you will be responsible for developing and executing technical recruiting strategies to attract and hire high-caliber talent to the organization. You will work to recruit individuals to engage on critical projects that directly impact the success of our clients and teams. Positions to fill will include full-time and contract, as well as internship opportunities. Positions you will work on include: Software Engineers (embedded/firmware, mobile, enterprise), Electrical/Hardware Engineers, Mechanical Engineers/PD Engineers, Product Realization (test, quality, product realization, NPI), Project Management, and other opportunities in the worlds of finance, corporate operations, IT, HR, and administrative support.
Responsibilities
* Work with and build relationships with hiring managers and functional leaders to define position requirements and service-level expectations * Manage competing priorities to ensure focus on business critical positions * Build and maintain recruiting sources and contacts within local community and beyond * Assist in developing recruitment strategies specific to each position and use creative recruiting sources and techniques (job boards, search engine, social media, professional networking, cold-calling, technical event attendance, tech news, career fairs, etc.) to drive pipeline * Research viable, cost-effective recruiting sources * Partner with our HR Director, Seattle recruiting team, and Managing Director in SF on strategic recruiting and recruiting initiatives * Maintain candidate activity & hiring data in our ATS and tracking tools to ensure accurate reporting of recruiting metrics * Take candidates through the full recruitment cycle * Perform administrative recruiting functions in collaboration with recruiting coordinator as needed (reports, job postings, reference checks, offer letters, etc.) * Interact with outside recruiters and agencies as a supplement to a broader recruitment strategy * We have a strong sense of community and we would love you to contribute to it * Occasional travel to our Seattle office may be requested
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum 4-8 years of full life-cycle recruiting experience with a focus on technical engineering roles * Proven ability to identify and recruit technical and non-technical talent in a fast-paced environment * Proven success utilizing creative sourcing methods to generate candidate pipelines within aggressive timeframes * Demonstrated strength in juggling competing priorities and moving forward in ambiguous situations * AIRS certification (CIR/ACIR) or equivalent abilities in the area of internet sourcing * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to properly deploy a high-five
