Responsibilities
* Partner with internal customers to establish and maintain metrics for cost savings, integration-related activities, process improvement, portfolio performance, and management reporting * Generate complex financial models in support of strategic and tactical projects and transactions * Assist with long-range portfolio planning and forecasting process and system * Assist with the annual capital planning, forecasting, and reporting processes * Review and analyze monthly financial results, including detailed variance analyses and identification of risks and opportunities * Prepare deliverables for executives in both Excel and PowerPoint for various purposes, including metro studies, business reviews, cash forecasting, and quarterly earnings call preparation * Develop work plans, project plans, tracking worksheets, and reports for key initiatives * Perform ad-hoc strategic and financial analyses and research assignments related to corporate finance special projects
Ideal Candidate
* Solid understanding of key financial concepts, including time value of money, IRR, NPV, and ROI; ability to apply this knowledge to complex transaction modeling of fully integrated financial statements * Demonstrated high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with complex spreadsheets * Strong quantitative and analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data, including financial statement analysis * Ability to gather, synthesize, and analyze large amounts of data and communicate relevant findings * Demonstrated analytical approach to problem solving with a high attention to detail * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency * Proactive and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently * Strong organizational skills – ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously * Consultative, service-oriented mindset * Outstanding oral communication, written, and presentation skills * Bachelor’s degree required in finance, accounting, business administration, or economics * Basic understanding of financial accounting and management accounting concepts * 1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, investment banking, consulting, strategic planning, or real estate * Local candidates preferred * MBA or CPA a plus
