Summary
You have excellent analytical and financial modeling skills preferably from M&A or capital markets execution experience. You have an in-depth knowledge of financial statement analysis and a strong theoretical understanding of corporate financial concepts, such as CAPM, cost of capital, DCF and other valuation methodologies. You have an ability to quickly understand new business models. You have strong interpersonal and leadership skills. You have a proven ability to work well in cross-functional teams and develop strong rapport with senior and executive management. You have an ability to thrive under tight deadlines and high pressure situations.
Responsibilities
* Provide recommendations to company leadership based on both financial and strategic implications of business opportunities * Lead and perform financial analyses and due diligence for business development transactions * Identify business drivers and financial/business risks as the finance representative on business development transaction teams * Partner with members of Yahoo’s business development, product, operations, finance, accounting, and legal teams to execute transactions * Participate in and lead analytic projects supporting strategy and business operations, and various special projects utilizing your deep finance expertise
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years of corporate finance experience, preferably in investment banking or similar experience in business or corporate development analytics. MBA preferred * Excellent organizational and communication skills * Advanced level in Excel, Work, and Powerpoint * Experience with technology, online advertising, or online media businesses is preferred
