Birchbox is looking for a sharp mind to assist the growing Finance department on all matters of financial planning and analysis for our global business operations. We need someone with integrity, energy, passion and a strong financial background to aide in everything from day-to-day business operations to forecasting and planning to financing. * Responsible for tracking and reporting business performance against operating plans for management and other stakeholders * Prepare materials to be shared company-wide on financial performance * Coordinate with accounting team on month, quarter and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial reports * Initiate continual process improvement efforts that enhance timeliness and accuracy of financial results and reporting * Establish and maintain strong business partnerships and cross-functional relationships to provide decision support * Assist with the annual budgeting process by providing guidance, support and analytics * Support management in corporate development activities, including fundraising and M&A * Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed
