Summary
Yelp is looking for that certain special someone to join our Human Resources team as our next HR Operations Manager! Our ideal candidate is someone who is a go-getter, positive and able to learn and adapt in a fast-growing environment. The HR Operations Manager is a front-line leader, works closely with and responsible for monitoring the day-to-day activities of the operations team on all HR functions and responsibilities. The HR Operations Manager plays a key role in providing business support and partnering with various HR Partners such as Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, HR Tech, HR Business Partners, Recruiters, and Global Mobility.
Responsibilities
* Supervise, train, and provide direction for Ops Coordinators * Proactively audit and coordinate established procedures, systems, and standards for overall operations * Implement new policies, procedures, and process improvements * Change management of all new HR system or process changes or implementations * Vendor management (HireRight) * Has a clear understanding of all HR policies and procedures * Ensure team stays within compliance for all processes * Owns and maintains documentation of all processes (current, future and changes) * Maintains and updates all SOX narratives * General administrative work as needed such as processing invoices, reports, data analysis * Manage HR wiki siteProvide direction, instructions and guidance to coordinators * Manage the flow of day-to-day operations * Primary contact for escalation and tier 1 team issues
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree * Minimum of 6 years work experience in Human Resources * Minimum 2 years experience in Management (e.g. manager, supervisor, lead) * Strong knowledge of HR systems, benefits plans and payroll processes *Workday is a plus! * Excellent oral, communication and organizational skillsStrong problem solving skills and ability to react quickly to resolve problems * Self-motivated, positive attitude, high-energy individual who can multitask well * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively others toward mutual objectives and able to influence across non-direct reports on cross functional teams. * Must have effective interpersonal and work experience in a leadership capacity (e.g. manager, supervisor, lead) * Position requires strong analytical skills * Attention to detail is a must * Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills * Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) * Able to demonstrate complete discretion and confidentiality * Able to work effectively in an open, highly energetic environment.
