Summary
The HRIS Manager will be a key member of the Human Capital Operations team and Lytx Workday implementation team. This person will drive the data architecture and business process configuration decisions in partnership with the HC functional partners with the goal of providing accurate on-demand reporting and insights to the business. Once the implementation is completed, the HRIS Manager will be accountable for continuing to drive ROI through recommending and implementing solutions to streamline and automate HC processes and programs by leveraging unused and new features in Workday. This may include building project plans, process mapping, design requirements & test cases, new user/feature training. Additionally, the HRIS Manager will serve as the system expert ensuring data integrity, effective testing of system changes, robust report writing and analysis.
Responsibilities
* Support upgrades, enhancements, testing, validation and overall performance of systems; analyze software releases to assess impact of new features * Participate as a subject matter expert on future build outs of Workday functionality including defining requirements, configuring solutions, managing testing and validation, documenting process change and training users on new processes and tools * Partner with team members to develop and deliver effective communications and training for users to optimize the effectiveness of systems and tools * Develop and manage standardized reporting function in support of business intelligence and data-driven decision making * Build dashboards for business leaders to track and monitor key human capital metrics (headcount, turnover, cost of workforce, mobility, performance, etc.); including summary interpretation of trends and key indicators as requested * Audit HRMS data regularly for accuracy * Providing day-to-day HR systems support for Workday including managing security settings, maintain user accounts, configure security, processes and tools; troubleshoot issues
Ideal Candidate
**Minimum Education, Experience & Qualifications:** * 7+ years designing HRMS data architecture, structure, functions and processes, and experience with enterprise application tools * 2+ years of experience implementing and supporting Workday HCM application and integrations. Demonstrated functional knowledge of multiple Workday applications including reporting and integration experience * Ability to create, deploy, and maintain Workday custom reports and dashboards. Completed Workday education or certification is a plus * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail * Highly analytical mindset with strong ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve system issues * Ability to multi-task and comfortable providing end user support and functional training * Must possess strong ethical standards regarding the handling of confidential information * Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint); strong Excel skills required **Preferred Qualifications:** * Strong functional HR and Payroll knowledge base with firm understanding of HR processes and data, especially as related to HR systems * Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems or equivalent education and/or work experience with business systems administration supporting the Human Resources function
