Summary

The Business Systems Analyst shall be responsible for developing systems roadmaps and eliciting the capture of project requirements through continued interaction with multiple business owners. The candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to follow and implement a project schedule, have a continuous improvement mindset and be capable of handling multiple priorities concurrently. We are looking for candidates who are excellent communicators, as well as analytical, self-starting, energetic and organized. He or she will also be capable of dealing with ambiguity and rapidly-changing priorities, with a strong desire to take on more responsibility as they grow.
Responsibilities
The Business Systems Analyst shall be responsible for working with various business owners to research, analyze, and document organizational projects. This position shall develop user stories containing detailed acceptance criteria, triage bugs and system defects, and communicate with development team to track progress and status of ongoing projects. The position shall also work closely with all areas, including development and support to ensure projects and work items are operationally ready within established timeframes.
Ideal Candidate
* 7+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role. * Prior experience in utilizing tools to capture user stories, requirements, etc. is required. * Write detailed requirements, user stories, etc. based on analysis and guidance from organizational business/ product owners (e.g., Real Estate, Sales, Operations, Legal, Finance, HR and IT, etc.) and technical teams. * Develop strong communication flow between all areas as it relates to ongoing projects. * Assist with QA testing to ensure delivery is to specifications as required. * Outstanding negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building skills. * Possess and utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts. * Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task, and workflow analysis. * Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: (Project Charter, Process Flows, Functional requirements/Business Requirements, Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs). * Document requirements; define scope and objectives as a result of interaction with business owners and technical teams. * Utilize knowledge of company technology and business processes to identify opportunities to further leverage the technology within the business. * Configuration and maintenance of business workflows in corporate ERP platform (i.e., process administration) * Consult with business units to perform analysis to create business cases for medium risk projects. * Own the business requirements and verification process. * Develop and solicit approval of SDLC documentation, and act as the subject matter expert for business partners on SDLC process. * Participate in the development and management of project plans related to the application development initiatives. * Manage project implementations and change control process for assigned projects. * Review requirements, specifications, test documentation, implementation, support, training and maintenance plans to ensure they are in line with business objectives. * Aid in the remediation of defects encountered during QA and/or UAT testing. * Primary contact for researching root-cause and facilitating resolution of production errors. * Experience with Lean Six Sigma is required * Degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required * Certifications such as PMP, PMI-PBA, CBAP or CCBA is preferred
