Summary
General Mills is seeking a Senior Workday Analyst who will drive innovations that enhance user experience, support HR process and technology efforts, and deliver value to our global employee base. It’s an exciting time to be part of the Global Business Solutions (GBS) Human Resources Solutions Development team as the HR organization has global initiatives focused on process transformation and implementation of Workday and modernized systems. This position reports to the HR Solution Development Solution Manager and is responsible for the development and support of HCM business processes and technical solutions.
Responsibilities
* Lead analyst resource for HR business process and technology projects * Subject matter expert and consultant for global HR systems, data and processes * System consultant to HR business – identify and articulate process impacts on technology/data and potential constraints * Lead day to day operational support of HR operations and ensure system health and sustainability * Partner with HR/business to define HCM functional requirements including data, configuration, integration, and portal needs * Translate functional specifications into required configuration needs and/or technical specifications and work with developers to ensure delivered solution meets requirements * Responsible for quality assurance, creation of test scripts and testing execution - ensure compliance with stabilization requirements * Ensure user acceptance of system solution * Partner with project manager in design of training strategy and stakeholder communications * Develop documentation and training supporting system or processes changes * Communicate system or process changes to users with varying technical knowledge * Advocate and influence HR solutions and inform on new trends and technologies
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelors degree in CIS (Computer Information Systems) or MIS (Management Information Systems) or Human Resources preferred * 4 years of relevant experience, 6 years preferred * Preferred certifications: CBAP, CCBA * SaaS implementation experience preferred * Experience with an HRMS System i.e. SAP HR a plus, Workday strongly preferred * Experience with one or more areas: HR Core, Absence Management, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, Time Tracking, Payroll * Development experience preferred: object-oriented programming, report writing, XML, XSLT, REST/SOAP web-services * Project Management Experience - proven ability to plan, manage multiple tasks/activities and prioritize appropriately * Ability to effectively work globally with GBS resources, contractors and 3rd party vendors to ensure a quality result on projects and enhancements * Ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions * Demonstrated ability to analyze, design, configure and support HR data, processes and technology * Experience supporting stabilization and ongoing production support of HR technical solutions * Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment * Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with technical and business partners at all levels
