Summary

Tillster is looking for enthusiastic, focused, and dependable Product Managers (associate-to-mid level) possessing proven business acumen and technical/technology expertise to join our growing Product team, based in our Los Angeles office. This is an opportunity to work and learn from the best and grow in our organization. You will be working on projects for global restaurant brands in the quick service and casual dining space.We’re seeking: intellectually curious, analytical, creative, innovative, results-oriented professionals. You operate from data, market, customer, and consumer insights. You seek out solutions to real-world business, technology, and consumer engagement opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Actively engage with business users and key stakeholders, external and internal, representing the Tillster business, operations, and technology to drive business requirements definition­
  • Externally, represent Tillster and its business, products and services offering, and internally, be a balanced advocate of the business needs of clients and key stakeholders
  • Experience in:
    • Requirements gathering, gap analysis, writing business and technical specifications
    • Assessing and managing scope of work, decomposing high level business requirements and developing lower level stores/tasks
    • Testing and monitoring for client/stakeholder/user satisfaction and resolve issues related to an application
    • Understanding and developing business process workflows and how they are supported through existing products
    • Accurately analyzing critical details of business issues and opportunities to understand and define impact and workarounds, and evaluate alternative business solutions
    • Coordinating various cross-functional teams and stakeholders, for the identification and prioritization of needs, and articulate business impact and workarounds
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders and business users
  • Lead business users and stakeholders in a forum where product enhancements are reviewed and rated based on a priority assessment, in preparation for release planning and development
  • Create user training and on-going support documentation, and facilitates training sessions
  • Work both independently and in a team setting while delivering high quality work in a consistent manner in an Agile project environment

Ideal Candidate

Candidate Success Criteria

  • Business acumen – understanding of business operations, and technical/technology savvy
  • Expertise in building and managing external client engagements and expectations
  • Exemplary communication skills (i.e. verbal, written, listening)
  • In-depth understanding and hands-on capabilities in identifying and documenting business requirements and process/work flow details - i.e.:
    • Identify and document client/key stakeholder business, technology, process, and operational goals; and,
    • Undertake gap analysis; and,
    • Develop business and technical product specifications, user stories, etc.
  • Coordinate and collaborate across internal product, project, development, QA/testing, and other functions and resources – as the advocate for the client business needs

Required Skills & Experience

  • Knowledgeable, and hands-on expertise in: business process and data analysis, functional design, modeling, product development processes, and software testing
  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for specific business processes, team player, happily and willingly shares knowledge
