HR Specialist

UTC Aerospace Systems is one of the world’s largest suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and defense products.

UTC Aerospace Systems is currently seeking a Human Resources Project Specialist to provide project management support for the Worldwide Repair network. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong strategic thinking, business judgment, innovation and teaming skills

• Provide program analytics and project management for Customer Service HR projects
• Assist with key HR processes including staffing, leadership development, domestic and international salary planning, employee relations, and compensation
• Support strategic headcount management, including restructuring, divestitures, and new product introduction
• Provide HR support to Client Managers in Customer Service
• Investigate employment concerns and ombudsman issues across the Customer Service network
• Utilize the ACE operating system and participate in * Customer Service ACE initiatives that focus on continuous improvement and process excellence

Qualifications Basic qualifications:

• 2-3 years of HR experience preferred
• Experience within aerospace or a Fortune 100 company preferred
• Skilled with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree in HR Management, Industrial/ Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or related field preferred.
