Summary
This position requires you to efficiently and accurately ensure that the Human Resources office is maintained and essential duties are completed in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
* Greeting and assisting all team members, applicants and visitors * Assisting with pre-screening of applicants as well as setting new hires orientations * Tracking all of the HR paperwork, i.e. PTO, Terms and rate changes * Tracking and administering all hourly 90-day and annual reviews and ensuring that are received on a timely manner from department managers * Assisting the HR staff with spreadsheets as needed * Assisting with the general office duties, i.e. answering the telephone, filing, administering locks, id cards, time cards and name tags for all team members and maintaining accurate record keeping * Assist with recruiting and staffing logistics * Active participant in employee orientation, development, and training logistics and record keeping assisting with employee relations * Provide administrative support to the Recruitment Manager as required (data entry, phone screening, interview scheduling, testing/assessments)
Ideal Candidate
* 2-3 years in a HR coordinator or assistant role * Bachelor's degree * Excellent computer skills in MS Office -- Word, Excel and PowerPoint * Excellent communications skills -- verbal and written with all levels of employees from executives to laborers * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; Must be timely and accurate * Must be proactive and able to use critical thinking skills to solve problems and provide solutions * Must be Customer Service focused * Ability to juggle conflicting priorities and work under deadline pressure * Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information like pay, benefits and medical history
